Teeth Straightening Process
Invisalign works through a series of computer-generated aligner trays, which allow for complete and precise customization for each individual patient. To create your trays, our team will take a digital impression of your mouth using our advanced iTero Element 2 intraoral scanner, which creates a more precise impression without messy materials. Your clear aligner trays will then be made in a special Invisalign dental lab. Once they are ready, you will return our practice to receive your trays along with instructions from our Invisalign dentist. You will need to keep your aligners in at least 20 hours every day for the system to work, ideally removing them only for eating and cleaning. You will move to your next set of aligners every 1 – 2 weeks as they carefully guide your teeth into proper alignment. Orthodontic visits will be scheduled every 4 – 6 weeks at Avon Dental Group to have the fit of your aligners evaluated as you progress through tooth movement. While the length of time that you need to wear Invisalign trays will be based on the initial condition of your teeth and your cosmetic goals, most patients undergo treatment for about one year.

She was taking her time cleaning every individual tooth, not missing a single spot. She would also tell me what she would be doing and why she would be doing it which I was really appreciative of and it made me feel more comfortable, by the time she was finished I felt like I could explain the entire cleaning process myself. The best thing about all of this, was even though Kaylee had an extremely meticulous process I couldn’t have been there much longer than 45 minutes which was perfect for me to get back to work! Overall, Avon Dental Group is an incredible environment in a beautiful town with an amazing staff. I’m super picky on my dentists and there are a lot of criteria I look at when choosing my services. Kaylee was phenomenal and I couldn’t be more excited to have found such a talented individual dedicated to her craft in a place that literally feels like my living room. After Your Orthodontic Care
